Looks like my mates old doris. P/ex'ed it for a black GT about 2 years ago.

Check it out, see if anythings fooked suspension and steering wise and fix it up, looks good enough to save.

i think i see this in late summer in croydon near me, was talking to the lad about it, gave him a quick race down purley way, frashed my golf, wheels wer just spining and was load as fook... lol looks mental, little ratty, i like it :)

just out of curiosity, whats a saloon go like with a gt lump in? I'm guessing slightly slower then a gt?

As a measure, I'm currently running a standard manifold, de-cat, 1 pipe, and a twin-exit backbox turned round, with one end sealed!

So loud-ish, not too big a bore (around 2" i reckon, you're the expert) and a tail like a mk1 golf gti.

they're no heavier than a gt coupe or squareback really so go just as well. If anything the rear end is a little stiffer so perhaps handles ever so slightly better.

Welded some scrap pipe we had about to the g40 backbox

Anti roll bar clamps weren't even half way done up! Re-hung all the fuel lines as they had fallen off, gonna get rid of the jank solid gearbox mount, then just got to make it drive in a straight line again
