Mk2 Breaddy - 1043cc - Mot Feb 2010!

Featured Replies

Make:VW

Model: Polo Fox

Year/Reg: 1989 / F266 WCK

Mileage: (1)31155

MOT: 1 year as of today - 26 February 2010

Tax: Nope :(

Good points: Full MOT, very tidy, drives well, great on fuel. This has the later hydraulic headed engine, which is the one to go for in the 1.05, it drives smoothly (perfectly comfortable at 70), accelerates well for a 1 litre.

Recent work: Clutch, waterpump and cambelt in last 2 years. In our ownership has had radiator, fuel tank, downpipe, oil and filter change, small weld on rear of driver's sill (rest of the car is rock solid).

Bad points: Speedo ticks, fag burns on seats, occassional slight misfire if you start it from cold, then turn it off, then start it again (think it's just the autochoke finding it's level), and being nearly 21 years old its got the odd scab of rust and car park dent.

Location: Derby, 5 mins off M1 J25.

Bump!

It says ONO, so feel free to make sensible offers!

Hey, have you got any pics of the rust etc? I've got a white 87 coupe s in pretty good nick with MOT and tax til June if you'd be interested. Cheers

Rust is mainly on the wheel arches, and down the drivers side B pillar where I assume people have chipped the paint opening their doors onto the car. Theres also a few specs of rust along the grille rail, caused by stonechips being untreated. It's all surface rust and could easily be treated.

I'll try and get some pics over to you.

Cheers, I'll keep my eyes open

you have PM
