Well i have been here since november 2007 just browsing and adding the odd question post. Been working on this car since december 2007 completly standard when i got her. And this is how she stands now :

well here she is :

Standard 1.3 Genesis coupé

60/70 lowering

Rolled the arches 1" out all round

14x7 and 14x8 steffans with 195/45 all round falkens

smoothed bumbers

FK racing seats

MoMo 280 steering wheel

no engine mods

got some really dusty bits on it were iv been sticking my hands (boot and on sills ) still needs some more polish

I'm not to sure about the exhuast it maybe sticks out too far will shorten it sometime maybe

All comments welcome and tell me what iv done wrong or right ! btw it looks brown for some reason. It should be red !

maybe late spec rear lights?? and attack all the little plastic bits with some back to black and it will be perfectamundo :)

and yea back to black is on the list of to do's ! will get some more photos up if she passes her MoT on wednesday fingers crossed !

wheels don't seem to suit it as well as say, some RSL cults would?

Never been a great fan of RSLs + virtually impossible to get hold of a set nowadays :(

i love the steffans gives it a mean look i think ( no bad boy bonnets going anywere near it however )

I personally think it would look good with half colourcoded bumpers tho

It is rather clean and tidy isnt it ...

As others have said cc the rear boot lock plynth thing ..

I would maybee think about cc the centres of your wheels maybee ??

with regards to the speakers it all depends on your budget and if you use your boot? 6x9s are a bit of a marmite thing really a lot of people see them as a cheap alternative to a sub but some see them as pointless and shit and after having rocked some myself i personally would say just get a sub you can get some real good deals for next to nothing and they sound sooo much better!

I love this car man, its sweet. The paint is beaut!

Only things I'd do is:

- Clear indicators

- Read rear lamps

- Delocked Colour coded boot plynth

- Dewipered

- De 'Polo' Badged

- Chrome rear VW emblem

- Colour coded mirror shells

- Chrome door handles with chrome inserts

- UK spec metal pressed number plates

It'd look so good then dude

its been back to blacked i need to get some recent picture up of it, looks better now

put black badge grille back into it looks much better ! :)

something about it i dont like, maybe the wheels are to big or something

if the wheels were black it would look utter awesomee

oh and clear indicaters and gt rear lights
