Can you be more specific regarding the documents from Switzerland?

To register it in the UK, it is going to need an MOT, a Swiss de-registration document and probably a translation of the Swiss de-reg.

dont think its that hard to import from the EU , cars built within it can be quite easily moved... you just have to change the country so therefor apply for a logbook... yes it will need an mot to do so, but you can do that on the vin and insure it the same way. then get it registered and its done . Also being a car that was allready widely available here makes it alot simpler in regards to dating the car from the vin, as they/ you dont need to hunt around for proof...

I had a lhd dutch g40 that was a testiment to this procedure,

i mean its a polo, it cant fail an mot that badly

When I brought my other G40 in from Germany, I insured it with Adrian Flux on the VIN - - - MOT'd it, then went to my local DVLA office (MAnchester at the time) with my import form filled out. Queued for abt 45 minutes.... they registered it there & then & gave me a tax disc all within the space of 20 mins. Got a V5 registration document through within 2 weeks of registration too.

Will take some pics of sills, battery tray etc. & also a video of the engine running too.

Whether I can post the vid or not is a different matter...

Anyone know what format a Nokia N96 takes video in?

I know it's not wmv. and therefore am stumped!
