easy done!

you need...mall grips, new inlet pipe, airfilter or standard airbox, new bolts, longer breather pipe or an oil breather.

i got bolts from focus. £2.49 for 4...only need 3, ones i got are a flathead screwdrivier peice, couldnt find a 10mm bolt lol

take the frying pan off

go to find a golf carb engine (got mine from a mk3 1.8 adz...goesnt matter what engine it is, so long as its an SPI

the studs in the inlet need to be taken out...i used mall grips to take em out..not too easy mind u.

then fit it..

dont forget to put what ever this little thing is back on... had to cut my pipe down to a decent size.

put the bolts in, then its secure! just then fit everything back on like the pipe and filter.

next thing (i have not done this)

I'm going to extend my breather pipe to fit to the cap. will be fitting an oil breather when i get some more money lol.

only need a little bit of pipe to fix it onto the cap.

two nuts locked against each other is also a good way to get the studs out :)

on mine the spi , the nuts are facing upwards from the throttle body which is the wrong way to fit . is there anyway to do this or .. ?

you mean u put 10mm nuts onto it to keep the airbox on? if so, thats what i mean, just get some mall grips on em, or do the nuts method.

if yoy dont understand it, take a pic of yours and will let u know.

goose has a good point, put 2 10mm nuts on the same one, then undo the bottom one, will take the stud right out, again wont be easy lol
