hi, got this in a job lot a while back, I'm wanting to know what it is and what its worth? I'm under the impression it a gt lift pump?

GSF part number 18389 FUEL PUMP-IN TANK Suited to cars 10/90 >7/94 £21.50+VAT

So brand new looking at £25.

2nd hand id say £10 possibley. Wouldnt be worth much more than that as a brand new one would come with warrenty etc.

it's a lift pump and petrol gauge sender unit. Not GT specific, the same part is used in all mk3 polos.

Also, the part you've quoted Steve just gets you the silver cylinder part (the actual pump) and the filter gauze on the bottom, not the whole assembly and none of the level sender parts. Having said that though, it's still fairly worthless.

oops. I have never needed to buy another one as i have had about 8 polos that i have stripped and always taken this part out along with the pump under the back drivers side.
