mk3 genisis

Featured Replies

Up only as a feeler at the minute unless someone makes me an offer I cant refuse, a lot of time and effort has gone into this car over the last 12 month so not in a rush to sell, has only just been put back on the road a couple of week ago after 12 months, no silly offers please!

Make/model: Volkswagen polo mk3 1litre genesis

Year:1993

Mot:12 months

Tax: 6 months

Good points:

De wipered boot

Tinted headlights and indicators

Genuine GT grill with black plastic badges front and back (not painted)

GT front grill badge, lost the rear but will have another look in the loft

GT arches

No rust all undersealed

Aero wipers

Shell only done 69k with some history

Engine:

GT lump from a previous polo I've owned, not sure on mileage but came from pshears on here a couple of years ago,

No smoke or rattles, pulls very strong,

Serviced regular by myself (a qualified mechanic) oil filter, oil and plugs done just last week

Polished and ported dewedged throttle body,

4-2-1 manifold straight through exhaust through the 3” backbox can be noisey

Induction kit with cold air feed in the front bumper,

Chipped ecu with raised rev limiter

Always warmed up before driving harshly

Polished rocker cover and radiator couling

Timing belt done 10k ago

Chassis:

13x7j weller steels, 4x100 and 4x108 stud fitment, not sure on ET but fronts do stick out a little further

Lowered 70mm on Eibach springs and philj uprated shocks fitted couple of month ago,

Brand new shoes and cylinders on the back

G40 vented brakes upfront with loads of life in them

Interior:

GT front and rear seats,

Black door cards and carpets,

Black parcel shelf NO HOLES!

GT steering wheel

GT clocks with rev limiter

Glove box

Cig lighter, needs wiring up

Ice:

Kenwood cd player

Alpine component speakers in dash, doesn’t sound brilliant but does the job

Bad bits:

Couple of small car park dings,

Nsf wing has a small crease but not that noticeable

Arches aren’t perfect, small crack and worn on the inside with oversized wheels on a previous car

No inner wings as previous owner removed them but I have undersealed them all

Spare bits:

I think this will be my last polo after owning 4 due to wanting something bigger and faster so I will be letting all my spare bits go with it,

5x polished g40 bbs ra wheels, no tyres and not perfect but will look good clean and shiny,

2x GT air filter boxes with air flow metres and pipe

Piper panel filter

GT clocks reading 90k I think

GT steering wheel

GT ecu

Fuel tank was fiited to my old car for a couple of month so still like new

And loads more bits and pieces

De badged grill couple of broken clips

2x radiators with a fan and couling

Just checking does it still pull on the steering still or is it all tracked up straight?

If it doesnt pull is it ok to come on Saturday for 800?

Do you have a number to call?
