Alright folks

This cold weather obviously causes moisture in the block and along with short runs I'm getting silly moisture like drips of water and emulsified oil coming out of the breather tubes (If I blow through the main pipe some water drips out the small tube, don't breath in lol.) I should really do an oil change but would prefer this weather to pass.

I still don't have a hole for the small pipe in my cam cover and have the later 80's set up of crank case chamber, main pipe with smaller pipe t junctioned off the main pipe. Since fitting a weber I just let both pipes point down and back in the bay.

I've been tempted to get rid of the chamber and just have a large pipe straight from the crank case breather and eventually get a catch tank. Maybe fit a tube(drilled bolt) into the alloy cam cover anyway?

So what are your views? and has anyone had similar worries with this seriously cold weather?

I remember getting a guide from Liz about breather issues which I printed out some time back just thought it might be worth discussing.

I've got the cam breather dangling in free air

the mushroom thing on the block has a small piece of hose then a 90 bend and more hose and again pointed under the car

air filter fitting for the breather is taped off

I've ran it like this for about 4 years with no issues...dont get mayo either but i use semi syn oil
