My Polo

Featured Replies

I know its only a 1L, but I've been giving it some love, feel free to comment or suggest new stuff i could add to my lovely polo.

the Alloys were about £90 for all 4 with most of their tread, okay they have been kerbed a little, but they were a bargain.

The speakers are a set of Pioneer Components, the stock adaptors were modified to take these speakers, some plastic glue and soldering meant we could use stock plugs too.

The new Headunit is the DEH1120MP by Pioneer, takes MP3 cds, with folders and aux and 4 50w outputs, its pretty good, obviously its not top spec but its styling suits the car, especially its dials matching the current ones.

The bluetooth adapter is a Motorola one, halfords were doing them for £14, bargain end of line product!

The bluetooth adapter wires into the mute on the head unit so answering calls is a doddle.

Give me a chance, got it in september :) I'm open to suggestions, i know i need it lowered. The mod on the original tweeters was a genius idea on my part i thought! :)

I must confess i know next to nothing about that side of things so I can't comment ..

(actually i know next to nothing about cars compared to a lot of people on here but shh dont tell anyone ;) )

like the bluetooth and the wheels suit it very well, £90 quid, bargain!

can't see much of the rear but 6n2 rears are definitely recommended,

usually i would say debadge grille but i reckon the badge breaks it up nicely with the dark paint and wheels.

only got mine in october and haven't even started on it yet!

Nice choice of headunit, same as mine! I only bought it because the green matches the dash and console lighting.

Keep up the good work!

I got mine in september, it was lowered the weekend after I got it! Get it low!

Yours down 60mm deviance? Looks very low! I do think keep the badge-grille bit. For the back, how easy is it to put on 6n2 lights, and how cheap?

Dunno how far it's down really, on coilovers. 50mm of thread left on the front.

Wish I could go lower tbh, when I get some new tyres I can...

6n2 lights are a doddle, you have to enlarge a hole thats on the car, and trim the corners off the 6n2 lights. Have to swap 2 wires over as well. I can talk you through it if you need a hand, takes 5 mins! Price depends, I got mine for free, traded them for my standard lights.
