Its my second gt, i got rid of my other one basically the same apart from the reg and i wanted another soon after :)

And soon to have new wheels, Smoked headlights, Bigger Brakes, ABD or something else, and what ever tickles me.

She dont get many compliments. Pictures dont show the imperfections in the bodywork, shame about the dints and niggles but she's 20 year old.

And i dont know what wheels i want, i think its hard to find a set that look subtle on a red mk3. I did have some 15's but they look far to big, i want to keep the low stance.

And as for swapping well i dont know lol As much as i say i want some new wheels i can never decide and always end up sticking with the steelies...

Tidy GT mate. They always look well on standard steels with some lowering. Just a shame there not that fat!

Got busy today doing some bits and bobs.

Not too happy with the fogs tho, a miss calculation led to having to chop part of the backs off as they fouled the chassis leg... Not to worrie tho, i will think of something fo cure them. They look good tho for show, even tho they don't work lol :(

Yeah they are. I'm not so sure on them now. They fit well but i can never make my mind up about what look to go for & Plus there not much use as they dont work and never will... Does my nut in.

I love Yoof's Mk3, it just looks so subtle and nice. I dont know what to do looks wise. Any opinions?

Quick update:

The Fogs have gone, decided against them. My splitter is also still attached to the old bumper, still deciding weather to keep it or not.

Also I have parted with the gt steelies shock horror! Now on some 13'' Ronal R15's. Started sanding them but dont know what colour to spray them. Chances are i will change my mind on the wheels soon haha!

Oh well you've got to experiment.

Will take some pictures soon, going to try and make a start on the bodywork sometime soon too, some pesky dints to pull out! And hopefully make a start on the manifold when the carbs decide to turn up!

Nice motor dude, very clean example, I have a couple of ideas you might like:

- Black door handle trims

- UK Spec road legal metal pressed plates with no holders

- Smoothed aerial (maybe a bee sting?)

- Smoothed 'POLO_GT' badge

- Smoothed rear wiper

- Badged front grill with black VW Emblem and no 'GT' badge

- Delocked boot plinth (PM me if you want one because I can make them including the modded linkage)

- Continental NSR rear lamp with no reverse lamp

- Smoked OE Fogs

- Half colour coded bumpers with satin black bumper grille slats

- Aero wiper blades

- Satin black exhaust? Maybe a Bastuck or Supersprint Gruppe A style tailpipe, or even hidden?

- 14x7 ET38 front/14x7 ET25 rear Team Dynamics pro race 1 with red lip and red wheel bolts:

- 175/50 R14 tyres for slight stretch or 195/45 for straight tyre walls

Red can be made to look very motorsport if you use plenty of black to contrast, I think you could make her look pertty sweet!

Having said that you can actually get team dynamics pro race 1.2 in 13x7! Would look sick with staggered offsets and 165/55s. True motorsport style!

Now thats one to think about! I like the look of speedlines tho, always have. I got offered some pro race 1.2's in 15'' but there to big imo.

I've got some black handle strips which will go on tomorow. Also got a set of ronal r15's now, they look like old speedlines off the mk2 golf cross country thing without the centre caps. They will be going black i think.

I need to get the rest of the bits for the carb conversion and get the exhaust sorted too as the bracket snapped for the 3rd time lol

Lot of good ideas there! I will probly go through with some of them, but moneywise things will have to be done in bits!

Quick update, Will be starting the ABD conversion tomorrow. Still in need of a manfold for the carbs...

Anyone got any RR Graphs what there ABD'd GT's are pushing?
