Just wondering if anyone on here has any rat look Polo's i could see some pics of? (Mk4 preferably!)

Also wanna know what everyones opinion of rat look is? its a bit like marmite i suppose (btw i hate marmite lol!)

Basically i have a tatty Mk2 Ibiza and am thinking about ratting it while i get my Mk1 Golf conversion done, as i'm fed up of having a non done up car lol There's no ratty Ibizas out there so the closest thing to an Ibiza is a Polo

Ideas/Comments welcome I can post some pics if needed

Search for bshaws car, one of the best rat look cars around at the min i think, its a mk3 though

imo it only really works on aircooled dubs, rating newer cars just makes them look like a pile of shit

i've seen some really good examples of water cooled rat's, but they are few and far between, lost in a endless stream of mk4 polo's with rusty bonnets and black and white checked detailing.

Its each to their own isnt it, personally i wont ever go OTT with the Ibiza, i think a subtle rat look is best on modern-ish cars. Too much 'rat' looks a bit silly i must admit, i dont understand why it angers some people though lol

zackly.... i did the whole rat thing on my bug years ago... got boring pretty quick when every other bloke did it.and it got very samey for somthing that was supposed to be so "different"

... got it painted properlly pretty soon after... did some subtle things that took some thought and got it painted a non vw colour. it looks like no other one but also looked nice...

i am not a fan of forced rat. it works on aircooled cars and tbh if i was gonna have a beetle i would want a rat one. but it doesnt really work on anything else and just looks shit

id prefer to drive a standard car then mod it badly tbh
