Best insurance?

Featured Replies

Right i'm seventeen tomorrow and i've bought a 1L Polo 6N.

The cheapest quote i've got with a provisional licence is with Quinnes for £1011.

But when i get a quote for when i have a full UK manual licence, the price goes up to something like £2500.

What i was thinking of doing is using Quinnes for 6 or so months until i pass, which works out about £130 a month, and then cancel the insurance with Quinnes and start looking around to find a cheaper quote once i've passed.

Is this the best way of doing things or is there a better way?

Dont take my word on this but.... There are a few companies that will let you start the policy on a provisional licence and when you pass you only need to notify them! (i.e. dont pay extra)...

I'm sure adrian flux are a company who do this, they may be upto £500 dearer than quinn, but it will be cheaper in the long run,

Let me know how u get one.
