2000 Polo GTi Silver

Featured Replies

Unfortunately the time has come to part with my Polo GTi.

2000 X Reg Polo GTi 1.6 in silver

I bought the car about 5 months ago to have a bit of a play with and for my mother to use occasionally. Unfortunately she doesnt feel its quite right for her, bit too quick and shes worried about bumping it as shes used to old cars!

its done 83000 miles, which is low mileage for one of these as I'm sure you all know. its got 8 months mot, 3 months tax.

only had 4 previous owners.

Service history up untill the last service when all belts and tensioners were done aswell as the usual filters, oil and plugs etc. this was done my a mechanic rather than VW themselves (as they charge so much!)

Engine completely standard.

RARE 16 inch BBS Split rim alloy wheels. Absolutely mint, not a mark on them. they were refurbished around 1 month ago and are absolutely perfect! and as you know these are worth enough money in rubbish condition. they cost me a lot of money but they finish the car off so nicely!

lowered on uprated shocks and springs.

New gearbox 2000 miles ago.

professionally fitted gloss black vinyl roof. x 2 stubby electric mirros painted gloss black. black front vw badge aswell as a black and silver colour coded rear badge. bonnet bra fitted

tinted rear windows

£3500.

Maybe tempted by a p/x. maybe a bmw, something japenese, interesting vw. was recently tempted by a mk3 cabrio, mk2 golf gti with a 20vt engine, e30 bmw. would preferably like cash my way aswell rather than a straight swap. what you got?

I live in Oxford, obviously viewings are welcome.

the car does need a bit of a clean in the photos but its not too bad - wheels come up very shiny when given a quick wash!
