So I've got a pair of 15x7's coming my way soon but am unsure or whether to keep them or not, are they going to look stupid or cause me any problems, I'm currently at standard hieght but looking to lower by 40mm, is this too much?

what mk3 is it your talking about 6n/6n2 shape or the older 86c or mk2f which some peeps call a mk 3 basically what year and reg letter is it

It's a 1991 j reg coupe (86c?)

can look good with the rite wheels but can also look terrible.....

and its usaully terrible lol..

If that's the case I'll sell them on, but pictures would be cool?

i'll be running these next year, not the greatest of photo's as i was just trying them on to see how they wold look

any wheel size within reason can look good, but there is a lot more to take into account than just the size of the wheel. offset, ride height and tires size are all important also

looks sweet, just got my ATS cups today, held them up against my stock steelies and they're the same size with the rubber on the cups being a lower profile, so should be fine :-D

My G used to run 7x15" ET20 Ats Cups a few years ago. Needless to say the handling was shocking even though it was only lowered 40mm on Eibach springs and Bilstein shocks (so good quality kit!) With 195/45/15 tyres and lots of arch cut away they used to catch all the time.........
