I'm interested in getting some coilovers for my 6n2 gti but dont have a clue which ones to get, some of the ones I have seen go for about 600 quid like KW's and FK's. Is there much difference in the quality of the ride i will get between these and your ones?

dont wanna put phill out of a sale here but yes ofcourse there is..

but alldepends what you are after ..

budgets offer big drop for little money and the ride is fine. its harsh and bumpy but you expect that from a lowered car..

u cant even put fk and kw in the same catagory ...

the gap between kw highsports and these budget kits are not noticible but kw are quality the ride is firm but nice.

Quite a few people have these, have a search on the forum, for the money they are excellent, and ride a touch better than the usual budget suspects.

Hi, I'm interested in a set of these for my 1.4 8v 6n2.

Was just wondering if there is anything else that would be needed to fit these to the car?

Also if I couldn't be bothered to fit them do you have any suggestions where could do it?

Nothing else needed to fit them, take your top mounts off your old units and fit the new stuff as they come off. Any half decent garage will be able to fit them for you..

Do these genuinely give you a 120mm drop? Do you need to take the helpers out to achieve this?

are they TUV approved at all drop heights?

and whats the warrenty like on these?

Need to take the helpers out to achieve -120mm ride height.

2 year warranty, and I don't think the TUV people would allow a -120mm drop unless on a range rover!

How low can you achieve with the helpers in?
