I was getting to grips with the workings of the coilover when I decided to compress the shock of a front coilover - it slowly returned to how it was before I compressed it. I did it to the other front coilover shock, it stays put - it doesn't return.

Is this faulty? If so, which one is working. Also, if one is faulty - is there anything I can do about it?

I'm guessing the one which doesn't return is broken. Any advice? I suppose I now need to be asking if anyone has a spare front coilover knocking about they want to sell to me!

vodor/mortonvw/ben.r probably do! i would say its probably bust! i can push my dampers down and they will return, slowly but they return (probably due to them being no where near as stiff as technix)

Yeah, from what I know they're meant to return slowly so that one is defo busted!

i have the coilover springs kicking about ( just the springs, no strut)
