Always wanted a lil mk3 polo, and after seeing this 1 pop up i decided to buy it.

As you can see from the pictures, its in a real good condition, and I'm really happy with the purchase. Has a few lil car park dents, and a small dent in the bonnet, but apart from that its in top condition.

Drivers side ball joint had completely shredded to fuck, so had to replace that ASAP else it could of popped out and i would of lost all steering. Then had it booked in for and MOT and service, and had a good look through and around the car.

After the MOT I took it to my mates exhaust centre and got it the car decat. Made a few gains, but nothing I was happy with.

So i went out and bought a s/s mainfold, had to get a lamba nut welded in, but that was no biggy........ i still havnt had time to fit this yet... but hopefully be done before christmas.

Whilst i was driving through a heavy rain fall i noticed when i stopped the car that all the headlight tint had disappeared..... So i decided to do it properly. Took the headlights off and whacked them in the oven to be able to prise apart. I sprayed the inside reflector face black and tinted the glass from the inside.

After running on the tear drop alloys for a while, realising that i had to pump up the passenger side tyre at least once a week i swapped them for my weller steels i had. that one tear drop alloy was egg shaped and would explain the wheel shake I used to get sometimes, and why it used to leak air.

I then went and got some G60 centre caps for them..

Running the car like this for a while.. i soon fancied abit of a change. I decided that the grille just wasnt doing it for me anymore and replaced it for the original one.

And decided it was about time for a decent set of alloys

all personal opinion at the end of the day. I think it runs well with the grille :)

I seem to be getting alot of emails and comments on the weller wheels and if ther up for sale and so on....At the moment I will be running them as winter wheels. But if someone wants to make me an offer I might consider selling. Pick up only though, Exeter/Plymouth - Devon.

i tinted my lights like this and tbh there dangerous ! carnt see a thing at night there like candles rather it be safe than look cool but thats my opinion

i would think about gettin a uprated loom and bulbs if your doing this to your lights

Yeah.. been running it like this for half a year now bud. And yes.. lights are very dim.. Bulbs are uprated and I've looked into havin the loom upgraded but waiting on a guy to get back to me. I do have a spare set of clear lens lights which i will be putting on over the winter periods... But cheers for the heads up :)

just a small update.

I'm back home now for Christmas, so hopefully the s/s manifold will be going on in the next few days, i also have some 239 discs with VW11 callipers to go on and want to refurb the rear drums as they're not 100%.

I bought a set of Mk1 Golf rear coilovers for a decent price and gave them a quick clean. Don't have before photos, but we all know how dirty coilovers/suspension gets and sorry the pictures are all taken on my phone, so much easier to upload.

Cats are sick

Although the fronts are far too wide, just looks silly!

The cats are a little on the wide side, but the last two photos just accentuate it a little as the wheel is pointing out.

Havnt fitted the coilovers yet, was planning on fitting them tonight, but i think its a little to cold for that at the moment :(

Yeah i had alot of comments with it on the teardrops, and they do suit it, but 1's egg shaped and leaking air :( plus 13" tyres are so much cheaper
