Bought some LED rear number plate lights and a 41mm festoon interior bulb for my 6N from this member (Po*Low*). Sent £6 via paypal for these items on 30th December 2010.

Got a reply that same day saying thanks for payment, will be with you in 12-24 days. Fair enough I thought, due to snow over xmas etc it may take longer.

Didn't arrive in that time scale, so I emailed him, and got a reply now saying that they are 'made to order' (wasn't originally told this) hence why it was taking so long, and that they were going to be sent out to people in a couple of days.

Another week or two goes by, still not received them, so I emailed again saying maybe they got lost, and he replied saying he would send another set out to me. Pretty kind I thought.

It has been over a week since then again, and I have since received a number of other parcels that I only ordered a few days ago. Quite obviously they have not been sent on either of the two occasions.

At the end of the day, I know it is only £6. But I f***ing hate it when I pay for something and don't receive the goods! Then to be lied to....

According to his profile he is a 'club member' and has made over 4,000 posts, so no suspicion of a scammer or anything, maybe you can't trust anybody these days!!

Anybody else had problems with dealing with this guy??

i wouldnt say i hade trouble with him but i brought some headlight protecters off him and he said he sent them bout a week later or something like that i pmed him on here and he got right on the case at the royal fail and said they will be here tomorrow so will soon find out. just try to pm him

And the bulbs i get them from a company in kent and the have been held up so making my orders have been slowwed down and bulbs are being sent as soon as they have been made and tested

well I'm sorry to say it i have had another pm regarding a very poorly made sale, spanning 3 months since purchase

complaining of poor replies, and lack of replies

sort out any outstanding problems you may have with buyers, refund them if need be

selling items you do not have is not a way to do business, only if you outline this to your buyer before hand

Exactly, this looks like very poor form. First you made out you were selling some spares, now it's pretty obvious you're drop shipping items you do not have. I think it's in everyone's interests if you refund everyone who hasn't had their item immediately.

Your bulbs were being sold over the new year period, how/why has a few lots of 10 bulbs turned into a 2 month sale?

This I becoming silly now I have the items and even take photos to show this, the lad that brought the bulbs has had a refund due to looks like they was lost in the post which these things do happen, and will the LED's I get them from a company in kent which make them to order which is why they are 100% brand new. And if people are still awaiting leds pm now as I have some here "can take photo to show this" and I will sort them out tonight and get them posted to 1st thing tomorrow,

This intended at me? Because I haven't received no refund, you said a couple of weeks back that you would send another set as they must have got lost the first time, but still no sign of them. I bought stuff from someone else on here about 5-6 days ago and bingo, items turned up on Thursday.

All I know is I paid for these items at the end of December and we are now nearing the end of February!!!

The original ad didn't explain that they were made to order, I assumed you had them sitting around ready to be shipped, hence why I bought them. If you had originally explained they are made to order then fair enough!!

I now understand the reason you said they would take 12-24 days to arrive, because they were made to order, I did think it seemed a bit of a long time to receive something in the post.

To be fair 'Po*Low*' has always replied to my PM's I have sent him about these, usually instantly or within a few hours actually. I just get annoyed paying for something and not receiving the goods. I'm sure you're a perfectly sound guy mate, just want what I paid for!

I will PM you now (as you said in your last post) with the bulbs that I'm awaiting and my address.

As staff, we are on this site to look after the club's members. If this means interveneing where we can in disputes, so be it. Sometimes, there's very little we can do, other times we work to give buyers all the inrmation they can to persue a claim. In the past, we've spent time tracing rogue traders, either by researching their online behaviour, using our contacts with other clubs, and on more than one occassion, people making physical visits to addresses to see if it's likely the trader lives/operates there. Likewise, we spend a lot of time comparing advertisers against reords of known scammers. Granted, we can't do something in every case, but we try a lot harder than we have to. So don't tell us we do nothing to protect our members from being scammed.

As I said, I'm not here to start arguing or getting sarcastic with people, it's an internet forum where people try to help each other out for christs sake, I haven't got time to start getting funny with people. I sent you a PM about these 3 or 4 times (trying to resolve the issue between ourselves), and to be fair you always replied saying 'they would be sent 1st thing tomorrow', but I haven't received anything. If you had of actually sent them, then there wouldn't be any need for this topic.

There is no need to start throwing your toys out of the pram and posting pictures to prove you have the items. If you have them, why haven't I received them in almost 2 months???

I think it is pretty reasonable to assume the items would be here by now considering I paid for these in December.

You are a club member and have made over 4,000 posts on this site, so I am sure nobody has any doubts when intending to buy something from you, the feedback from most other guys comments in this topic is good too, apparently a sound guy.

I have no doubt you're a sound guy, and if it helps you out and makes you feel better, then perhaps the mod's would be happy to delete this thread?? I couldn't care less, as long as I receive what I have paid for...
