Well what can I say ..., had my last 6n valver which some of you may know and have seen the little build thread I had on here or may of bought parts from me when i was breaking her :crybaby: .

I had the valver for almost 4years this year, until few weeks back some dick decided to pull out of a junction on a main road and went straight into me  . The car was a write off ! .

Been looking around for another VW since the accident and couldn't resit but to buy another polo ;) , but this time i decided to go for a little uprgade and go for the 6n2 gti :ninja: .

I wanted a good spec gti polo , Preferably one with heated leather seats and climate control . After taking great advice from gti owners on here they gave me really good information on what i need to look out for on the gtis and ones that i should avoid.

Found this little beauty , full vw service history with lots of extra history and receipts , 62k , heated leather seats with climate control , last owner was a lady :-p, and I'm the 3rd owner and very proud ! body work is in excellent condition for an 11year car and no visible dents or the usual rust pataches that the 6n2 polos suffer from .

I Paid £2750 for her , the lady wanted £2950 but offered £2750, I think i got myself a very good deal

Has minor things that need changing and a little attention like it needs the gti splitter and new drivers side abs sensor. Rear bumper has a little mark on it and has been touched with the good old halfords touch up paint  (Not good job ). wheels are not in great condition but tbh i dont mind as i will be using these wheels as winters .. but thats all really ...

Will have new abs sensor by the end of this week and new gti splitter next week . :-D

Picture from the day I bought her and parked up in my drive ( Needs a really good detail + wash )

Although I heard that the gearboxes are "made of chocolate". (Someone posted that here recently, can't remember who though.)

haha , thats what i heard too , but depends how its driven I suppose , this one has been checked over along with the pedal box as they are known to be not very good , but gearbox wise this one goes into every gear nicely with no problems , I made sure that this polos gearbox was in good nick before i bought it :)

looks really nice mate. No GTi splitter though?

Gearbox's are fine if you look after them :)

I wasnt too keen on the wheels at first but they do look nice when you run the right tryes on them  , i think you can get rh cups in 7j all round ? .. they look way better having the 9j on the rears and the 8j at the fronts i think .. give it that extra "hench" look i suppose lol :ninja:

Thanks for the comment chris , i had the wheels sat around in my room for about 6months now , was planning to but them on the 6n but was too busy with work and then had the accident =(

Had them polished up 2months ago down at rainbow polishing in Birmingham, did an ace job!.. i went to gti International show hoping to leave with some pressed plates and other goodies, but the cash machines there wernt working when i came so couldnt withdraw cash =( , was annoyed , so next show il go too il get some plates ;)

Update- 14.7.2011

I have the car now lowered woop woop ! Looks 10x better now then it didnt when i was like a 4x4 !! Have set the coilovers so it isnt too low ( For the min ) as i want to see what the ride was like , but will be going slightly lower once i get the cups on, which should be in two weeks :)

After a view trial and errors with spacers to fit the rears and the fronts I finally bought 20mm Hubcentric spacers for the rears (With Longer Bolts) I also bought 15mm HC Spacers for the fronts (With Longer Bolts) and THEY FINALLY FIT ! After about 7/8 months of having the wheels laying around in my room I have them fitted to the gti at last , Wish i could see what they would of looked like on my old 6n valver as i orginal bought them for that car :( . R.I.P 6n!!

Anyway ,I'm loving the new look of the car at the moment , has changed it a lot i thinks :D . not too much poke with the wheels and the spacers on there due to the et being quite high 35. Very happy with end result  .

Maybe few tweeking here and there with the coilovers so they sit nicely , Something for me to do at the weekend i guess .... all i need to do now is find some orginal oem RH Center caps as when i bought them it didnt have any , so bought Temp center caps with the Porsche logo on :ninja: .
