It's very easy to push that down and start it leaking into the manifold. Is that likely the rubber block gone? The carb itself is bolted down as tight as it will go.

GSF but I make sure I have the right part number off the online shop.

There's one Guy at mine that you really have to keep an eye on what he gives you as it will most likely still be wrong.
