KW Variant 1 - Adjustable height with fixed damping

DSC00287.jpg

I paid £710 for these with struts and they got about 100 miles before my piston melted and my G never saw the road again

BRAKES

Standard G40 brakes and vw pads but comes with grooved discs

WHEELS

Original 13” G40 BBS

EXTERIOR

BAD POINTS

Small amount of rust on drivers door where supercharged decal is

3 or 4 dinks around the car

3 scratches on the bonnet

The car does run BUT after installing a new engine (supplied by Yoof at polo performance) there are a few things left to do. Can't recall mileage of that engine, but I'm sure if you ask Yoof he might be able to tell you.

Original engine available if interested

Exhaust manifold gasket needs to be changed

Ignition timing needs to be set

On and off sticking throttle issue

Needs New Radiator Fan (I have one here)

General look over before MOT as it's been stood

COMMENTS

Bought in July 2008

Full service history

Folder full of receipts including my £1,000 plus bill from Jabba Sport

My current input into her is approx £4,000

Selling due to not being able to insure 3 vehicles and I want to tackle drifting, I can't commit to both with my budget so something unfortunately something has to give and it breaks my heart to be writing this for sale post :(

My husband has tried and failed to help me fix it (I'm no good under a hood) and I can't afford to pay someone to fix her as the last person I trusted fitted and paid a lot of good money too, put the wrong spark plugs in her causing it to melt a piston. That was nearly 3 years ago this March!!! A shit time in my life back then, storage, keeping the pikey iron men at bay and having shit all money since then has kept me in this situation of not being able to get it going. I can't have it all, so she has to go. Ouchie.

I would love to see her go to a good home where she will be given a good life and see the roads to meet that porsche again on the M5 ;)

Location: Castle Donington

Trailer required to take home

Currently SORN

PRICE

£2,000 without KW V1s

£2,500 with KW V1s (will split from car to sell separately)

Open to sensible negotiations and I'm only interested in px R32

No time wasters please.

Thanks

Dirrt

p.s I am also selling my compo's, if anyone is interested please get in touch

How much for the coilovers? Or would you sell them separately?

Is there a reason why I've only been able to send one PM?

So to answer your questions

JordonVW - See below

mr.clive2 - See below

PhilJ - Yes a skyline R32 haha I wouldn't want the VW kind, they ming

Compos

They fitted fine on my mk3, looked terrible and do poke (nothing to cry about though) but will look awesome if done right

They did rub the brakes on my G40

They do need a refub, I bought them in poor condition with kerbs and I had a snow fail in them so there is one larger one.

Nothing a refurb wouldn't resolve though.

All pictures I can find at moment

When hubbeh next goes to unit, I'll get him to get some pics.

I guess we'll be seeing you at DWYB in no time then

If you mean Santa Pod... You guess well and truly wrong!

I already attend them at Oulton Park all last year and did my first Buxton last year, still got a lot of seat time to get in this year!

I'm gunna be another knober and say i want it but cant afford it...

never been to a pod DWYB, I can just see who would attend it.

Might catch you at buxton as i usualy have a watch

  • Author

That's ok haha keeps my page up the top :ninja::badgrin:

Exactly why I don't want to ever go there. Expensive and shit seat time too!

I am sure you can understand there are dickheads everywhere you go, even on forums. Making conversation is a lot harder than I thought. :?

I wasn't being nasty and I wasn't being rude! I asked you if you were selling the coilies seperately and instead you chose to make me look like an idiot because I assumed that I would see you at Santa Pod.

Most people from the South can't get up as far as Buxton for one days worth of drifting. Getting up to Santa Pod is hard enough work, but atleast it's somewhere for people from the south to learn how to drift and imrove their skills. Perhaps you should appreciate the fact that by Santa Pod offering Drift days, there are more and more people becoming interested in Drifting.

I don't mean to flood your thread with irrelevant posts, but hey, you did say it gets your ad back to the top! :-D

I never said you were being nasty or rude and I don't know how I made you look like an idiot.

You just quoted my reply to Matt... Not you. So I wasn't even talking to you anyway!

Not many people can afford to travel for drifting and take the closest cheapest option, I appreciate all forms of drifting thank you and I work for a drift company, so I see lots of people getting into it now. I just don't like what Santa Pod stands for when it comes to drifting as it's not what I believe to be real. Thats my personal opinion, I'm allowed it. No need to get your knickers in a twist because I said you'd never find me at Santa Pod. I was actually highlighting the fact that you said...

I guess we'll be seeing you at DWYB in no time then

Because not all DWYB mean Santa Pod and clearly that's what location you meant which is why you're getting aggy about it.

You can drift Saturday AND Sunday at Buxton and get more seat time than Santa Pod could ever offer and also get more experience by being in the ODC if you wish (which Pod got dropped from this year for being shit at organisation) and having fun in team drift competitions. £10 to get in, £10 to drift and £10 a passenger if you have one. Cheapest place to drift in the UK for a weekend for years. You camp for free and bar open on a Saturday night, bbq on the go or takeaways ordered, best people you'll ever meet, all help each other out, great atmosphere and for me in comparison to what I've seen in the rest of the uk, what drifting is really about. So until you've experienced a DWYB outside Pod, then I'm not interested in your inputs.

Thanks for bumping my for sale thread to the top again though :)

To clarify, my coilies will not be split from this, but thanks for your interest.

I'm currently paying £60 a month to store it, we move house in April with secure garage and lockable gates so transferring to there and if I have no options between now and the Juke going back, I'll be paying for this to be fixed and it will then become my daily as my E30 is now a drift trailer queen. So I'm keeping my options open, as I don't think I'll getting any genuine interest in the next year anyway which is kind of a good thing as I do really love this car and don't want to let it go
