Ladies and Gentleman it’s time to sell my 6N2O ;

About 2-3 Years ago I was hit from behind and the insurance paid for a full re-jig and re-paint. It was its 12th year old birthday this January. The car was used mainly while I was at university so was doing 30mile motorway runs every day.

Pros: Great Project Car, it will come with a lot of bits on it and I think with some real TLC someone could do a lot with this I just can’t afford a car any more

Cons: Crack on the driver side of the bumper from the splitter getting caught on a curb can be fixed hardly visible, drivers window is starting to slow down still works just slow.

What actually sits where the EGR goes?!? does it pass the MOT like that?

Yup always passes MOT

I used the orginal pipe and welded it shut

But it depends what year you the car is mine is an early 6N2, so just removed it, blanked it, and it was fine..

As far as I am aware the newer 6N2's had the EGR connected to the ECU.. Mine was just vacuum but don't hold me to that..

Mine is 2001 Y plate, 1.4 16v AUB 100bhp.

Mine sits at the front of the engine and has a cable which isnt attached at the moment. might take it off, give it a clean and see whats occuring :)
