Well, I'm Carter (Liam)

Here we go for a build thread.

I brought the Polo in early January and haven't done much to it apart from buying service bits really. I'm the 3rd owner of a 54Plate, 1.2L . She's finished in black and has standard wheel trims. So far she's covered 61,815 miles from new, Had a head gasket and timing belt recent and a oil change, but now I own it, most of that is going to change C:.

So little edit really, Probably seen most of the updates, Just a recap-

- Upgrades/mods done so far are:

-Serviced

-CP/Club stickers,

-All red rear lights,

-Audi Pepperpots (Back on referbed steels) = SOLD

-Painted steels,

-New front pads and disc's

-Painted callipers and drums,

-Full paint correction/detail,

-Black rear view mirror,

-New plates,

-Rapped black door handles

-New NSF droplink and ball joint

-Fitted/Wired all amp and sub

-Tinted side indicators

-New wheels fitted and tyres

-Spacers fitted

-coilies

Plans left- NONE!!

Sure thing, I've Got a few friends with Vw's for some photos in the summer .

Quick update:

I'm now 17 and insured on a provisional licence (watch out). My car is still standard due to family and weather problems :(. But here's some more pics of her and bits:

Ashley - Good luck hope you get it, i went around 4 dealers and they all had 9n polos and they were bags of sh*t :L so I'm glad i stuck it out and found this 1. When I'm able to drive on my own we should get some pics . were you located in Birmingham? dont know if you've herd of RSPV? Well I'm part of a VW Group called DTA. (were joint show stands with RSVP at the Volks show) Get some with them ..

Sicx - I was reading your build thread a couple of weeks ago and I really like your car, that's what made me wont pepper pots so much. Seen others but yours sits really nice. Any thoughts of getting them diamond polished? and rear spacers? But it already looks mint .

UPDATE!!!

So today, I had my Nan's funeral and we were finished around 2pm so I decided to wash/polish my car. Delilah is still standard :( but I've nearly removed all stickers from Solihull VW, just got the tax disc holder to be replaced with a shiny Porsche 1.

I removed the (Front and Rear) dealer plate backgrounds today - easy peasy job :

Thank you! But Wow - shame you didn't have some coilies :( Would have looked pretty neat. People say there really common - I've only seen 4 9N's with them on? But they all look MINT!!!. When you had your coilies that was a nice hight man.

BTW that Swarfega Jizer - Degreaser ^ Is awesome. soooo good. Cleaned my engine and it was filthy but now its shiny For £6 i think it was. Bargin. Got more than 1/2 left toooo

Appreciated dude! I was thinking about it actually, although I'm thinking of getting something bigger at the minute. Its got 20mm spacers on the rear at the moment actually, if i keep the pots on i'll probably get the same at the front. I'm thinking of going really low this summer as well! But thanks mate :)

Its all good man, For a five door looks awesome!. Personal taste is all that is needed. With your plans its sounding interesting and would love to see when its ready for the summer. What Coilovers have you got on?

Update!!!!

Well today I've been a busy boy. Finally got my service complete after I've been wonting to do it since I brought it. Then came the some detailing.

After a few atemps of taking the drop links off I ended up with two broken torque bits and a nice mess on my drive so I couldn't continue :)

BUT!!!
