so last nite me and my flat mates decided to do the done thing and go out and have a snow ball fight, we came back 4 hours later to find that some absolute dickhead had done this to my car!

smashed the rear window, drivers side rear window, smashed taillight, fuked up tailgate and rear pillar!

i was not a happy and then i looked over to the side of my car and i saw this

the dickhead had drove all the way down a PATH and then decided to try and cut back onto the road in between my car and the one behind! crashed into my car fuking up the rear end and moving the car about 5 feet forward!

there isnt even a scratch on the rear bumper, it must have been a 4X4, no witnesses, no cctv - wtf! no point in me going through the insurance, it just would cost me money and hassle, its not worth it

anyway sooo I'm pretty pissed off atm, i had plenty of plans for this - i had just bought euro rear lights for it, shipped from germany, how glad am i that i havnt had time to fit them yet!

anyone have any ideas of what i should do with her? ill be getting another polo in the near future so ill be keeping the suspension, exhaust etc

i think the shell with go for scrap, dont know weather to break it?

Shells scrap as the roof has gone in on it bud best bet is to break her for spares & try regain some money & put it towards another polo !

them swiftly remove the paint from their car after you "accidently" trip near it when carrying brake fluid.

Have you reported this to the police??

I'm no expert, but the paint and tyre prints are possible leads.

They may be able to find out which model/make 4x4 it is and then see if any had gone through a nearby ANPR camera?

i rang the non accident emergency number and they just took my details and created a 'log' for my insurance company, they said that they couldn't take it any further becos ther wer no witness or cctv - dicks

Mate get a public notice in your local paper, shops, websites etc etc for anyone with a smashed up red 4x4... Long shot but it's amazing what the public can do when you ask it of them. Someone, somewhere must be this wankers neighbour and I'm sure with some time, persistence and determination you'd get some clues.

Get yourself into all your local body shops and take that piece of the bumper with you, ask if they've had any red 4x4s in with light frontal damage if they have then ask if they've got the damaged front end and you might be able to match that piece you picked up with a hole in the damaged bumper. If they haven't had a matching vehicle in tell them to call you/the police if they do.

Now youve mentioned it to the police, it will show on your insurance records.

Next time you try and take out a policy it will flag up that you have an undeclared incident and they will try to screw you for mo money.

i realy would love to scout around everywhere to try and find this guy, but I've got a degree to think about which i am massivly busy with atm, and i have left that part of their bumper in the car which i have now taken back home! I'm just going to have to make the best of this terrible situation and smile again when i get my next polo!

If you got the pieces from a donor car-that is easily repairable! Even of you don't is still repairable. You've got to have a garage,some weldind equipment and be willing to spend some hours...

They probably didn't have insurance anyway which means if you did catch them you wouldn't get any money.

It's not true about it going down in your insurance records, so you'll be fine in the future.

Just pick up it mate then you still have another polo on the road
