The time has come for me to sell my pride and joy, this car has received a lot of loving and will be a sad sight to see it go.

The work that has been done to it has been done to a very high standard and it is absolutely lovely and has been looked after extremely well !

Has been heavily modified and really does look lovely !

This car could do very, very well in shows but unfortunately I haven't had any time to go to any since all the latest work has been carried out !!

Reason for sale is that I am moving on to bigger and better things, hopefully in the form of a monsterous 4wd mk1 jetta project :-D

Make: Polo 6n 1.6 CL

Colour: Dragon Green (freshly resprayed in October 2011)

Year/Reg: P reg 1997

Mileage: 88,286 will go up slightly as I am still using it

MOT: MOT runs out 14th September 2012

Tax: Runs out end of August 2012

Mods:

Exterior

In October 2011 the car went into my garage to have the following work carried out

16 valve Front bumper number plate recess and two top grills smoothed out, all plastic welded and done properly.

16 valve Rear bumper tow eye smoothed out all plastic welded and done properly and casting marks smoothed out.

Sills fully smoothed out (jacking points and the join in the panels under the door) all welded and done properly.

Line under rear lights welded and smoothed properly.

Front arches rolled, flared and smoothed the ridge out. They have been flared so they can tuck 8" wheels with a low offset (quite a bit !).

Rear arches rolled, flared and smoothed the ridge out. They have been flared a lot and can fit 8.5" with a low offset underneath. The lips have all been sealed properly underneath.

Tailgate badge and rear boot handle smoothed out with a boot popper to open boot. Metal plates cut and welded in and done the proper way.

Roof and top of tailgate painted in gloss black (Mercedes colour).

The whole car was then resprayed in dragon green bar the bonnet which had been painted a few months previous.

6n2 GTi front splitter.

Debadged front grill.

Stubby ariel.

Interior:

Ford RS Turbo front bucket seats welded onto original VW frames so that all the original movement is still available.

VW emblem door lock pins

Sony Xplode head unit

Edge 17cm component door speakers

Suspension:

TA Technix coilover suspension.

Front wound all the way down with helpers removed.

Rear have quite a few threads left if wanting to go lower.

Engine

ECU chipped by previous owner.

I know the car has had a good service history previous to me owning it as the previous owner was a customer of my dad's and there is quite a lot of receipts of work done that will come with the car as well as loads of old MOT slips.

Car has sailed through the past 2 MOT's !

Cambelt and water pump done a while ago.

While I have owned the car it has been serviced at regular intervals and the oil and filter has been changed regularly.

I replaced the whole clutch assembly at around 82,000 miles so the clutch is pretty fresh.

Back box replaced a few months ago.

Bad points:

Two front tyres are very low due to camber.

Drivers sun visor doesn't go up fully, it hangs down a tiny bit and squeaks when you move it.

Exhaust knocks and rattles a little bit due to the lowness, but as said it has had a new back box and there will also be a middle section supplied in the sale.

Few teeny stone chips in the bonnet from motorway driving.

Car was written off in 2009 prior to me owning it as category C, Vehicle was repaired at my dad's garage and as you can see was repaired to a very high standard.

Then had a VIC check from the DVLA and passed on the 02.03.2009.

I have been as honest as I can about this car, and it really has served me well, I hope that it goes to a new owner that has as much love for it as i have had !
