Weber 34 ICH carb conversion

Featured Replies

Bought this years ago and never used it. Looks like the complete conversion for an early mechanical engine that has a pierburg solex as standard.

I'm after £50

Located near Norwich.

Cheers dude, wish i'd remembered i had this all the time i was runny the meccy engines in my golf, would have been a huge improvement on the piece of old shit standard pierburg/solex.

Got the weber DMTL on 3F in the Golf eventually, nice one dude! Idles sweet, need to pick your brains on choke and jet sizes :-)

I have a Pierburg 2e on my 86 1.3 breaddy at the moment, would this carb fit and eliminate my poor idle and cutting out issues? Is it a manual choke and would I need any other parts to complete the conversion?

Thanks

James.
