My dad picked it up for me, i'm at uni atm so i owe him the money ha

keeping it standard to a certain extent yes; i want some new bulbs and plates etc. but nothing like lambo doors or something haha

currently it needs a new door, repairs to the rear 1/4 and sill and it has some engine troubles (head gasket? valves? rings?) need to strip it down tho

gear box is nice

but it chucks out smoke when you plant your foot down

this is how my red polo started life and i fixed it up

done some research; a similar car (in terms of extras) on that reg with that mileage are going for roughly £1.9/2k privately!

either way, i want this car

innit the bloke orginally wanted £400, in the end he said to was too much agro for him, so he wanted a little more than scrap for it

yes i am from Kent (biggin hill as general way point)

and yes I'm at Uni, but i'm at Plymouth. i was orginally destined for Dundee! ha. but i went through clearing and got what i was given

i do know a few of my mates are at the Coventry campus tho

me, a bit of a novice

my cousin, who is a VW nut and has about 5 years experience

and my dad who has nearly 30 :)

i'm gonna fix it myself, but i'm gonna have someone over my shoulder just to double check

keep a lookout in the build thread in the near future

oh yeh :p i heard that you have to get them direct from DubMiester? other wise they're not completely legal? something like that

yeah the small bits make all the difference aha. i just won a leather mk5 golf GTi service book on ebay :p i stole the idea from a guy who did a OEM+ lupo GTi

not by much tbh, i know the GTi is 15mm lower than normal, so maybe another 20mm?

same well, on the red one, not sure about the black one aha i remember it took me ages to go around the whole car with a little tub of touch up paint, it took me hours! worth it tho!

kl kl mine is also gonna be my daily, but because i will leave my car at home, i will only be doing about 4/5000 miles a years
