He's refusing to take paypal and becoming abusive when people refuse to pay through bank transfer ect

May just be coincidence too but he says in other posts he's from Liverpool area, has worked in the body work trade for tens years... Ringing any bells yet?...

Also copy and paste the first line of the add into Google and it pops up on all the usual forums with different user names and very new accounts and low post counts. Also going through his posts on here it looks like a lot of them look like they are just being posts to bump up the post count

This is that Paul woodward/nik hewittw/ect. A little Google off the name Paul woodward brings up threads about him posted on a shit load of random forums, pasting the first line of the add for the powertechs into google brings up the add on the same rondom forums

http://m.pinkbike.com/forum/listcomments/?...6&pagenum=1

In that one he mentions being in the spray painting trade for ten years and coming from Liverpool way, same as this user has been saying on here, and again becoming aggressive when questioned about shit

I don't condone the scammer, but I agree with what he says about paypal, they're useless sometimes when things go wrong. Another thing is the fees, wouldn't it be about £25 on a payment of £360!!

The fees have nothing to do with it as i was gonna cover the extra from my side was about 14 quid

his email address was paul_2012@......

he has now been deleted, I thought the guy got jailed?

Think he only got a few months mark and he's been popping up here and there on forums a bit over recent months. Would it be worth moving this to the general forum just as a heads up to be a little more vigilant not just when buying but for him popping up again with a different name?

Awesome. So it wasnt me being a cock then hahaha.

He seemed dodgy straight away to me

they have computers in jail dont they hell they have more then we have

I still stand by only paid club members and with post count of 50 or 100 + should be able to use the classfieds section this will also generate more income for the club...

As i've said to people before try to steer away from newbiees etc as there is only hassle with them it seems....

jake speaks sense

yeah .. as when signing up they should send a member ship pack out asap which the member could sign and date..

Seems like a ballache but Club members could have a trusted seller like ebay for other members to be reasured ...

Club ebay
