Yet another 6n 16v

Featured Replies

Alright folks!

Its been quite a while since I posted here on Clubpolo so thought it was about time to get back into it!

I've had numerous polo's in the past, including 1 1.0 6n, 3 6n 16v's (2 which I bought from here and brought back to Ireland) and a 6n2 gti!

I recently picked up a red 6n 16v, a rare find over here! It was going for small money so I jumped at it! Wasnt expecting much condition wise but its in great shape for a car thats 15 years old!

The car came to ireland from Jersey in 2008 and was owned by an elderly couple since!

When I bought it, it was your standard 6n 16v with electric windows and sunroof! Only 49k miles on the clock with full vw service history!

Since I got it, I fitted coilovers (Thanks PhilJ), Steffan BCWs 14x8 and 9s, clear indicators and side repeators, badgeless grill, de-wipered the rear and removed the side moulding to give it that clean look!

I have a new 6n2 gti splitter to go on but waiting to get the front bumper smoothed first before fitting...also have 6n2 rears in the garage to go on!

Anyway, time for some pics! Let me know what ye think, good and bad of course! and some further idea's what I can do with it!

Sean

Must camber the rear...should I go with shim's or go with the washer's?

Well the law isn't as bad here than the UK!

Where's the best place to buy shims, apart from eBay?!
