Wont Start

Featured Replies

My radio cassette player seems to have popped a fuse. But my Polo won't start. Don't have a spare fuse to hand and really busy at the moment so don't have time to walk to the shop and buy some. By the time the wife gets home with the other car even Halfrauds will be shut.

If the fuse is just the radio cassette, how come it wont start????

HELP!

must run on the same relay?

Try a swapping a fuse over and seeing if that starts it?

Might lose headlights or something

I'm wank with electrics, just an idea though, and surely as long as you use the same ampage fuse it cant do any harm

Any more details on what year of Polo it is your having problems with?

Yeah, sorry Karl, was having a panic. It's a 1994, it is the Mk2f Genesis Coupe, one of the last before the new model.

Have popped a bit of fuse wire across the fuse the radio popped and the radio now powers up, but it still wont start!
