Yo,

Right so I've been through alot of cars since owning my last coupe and now I've completed my massive circle I've now got another one :)

My old coupe for the record

It's a boulevard model which from first glance means I have rank Volkswagen seats and a glove box lid? Also its a 1.0 4 speed which will be staying till I'm happy with it cosmetically.

Basically I'm the 3rd owner the first was a 87 year old that bought it from new.

Second was a young lad, tinted windows stickers left right and centre exhaust.

Now me - I prefere subtle if I'm honest so after owning it 20 minutes the sun strip window tints and all stickers were removed. Then ill be removing the back box and hids as soon as I've got some time.

(Also turns out after receiving the log book, that story is bullshit, cheers previous owner. I'm the 5th owner)

As well as replacing the bonnet with a properly coloured one as mine is Matte black.

Its literally mint which is what led me to buying It in the first place...

Plans:

AFH on bike carbs - DONE

A lot Lower LATER

Wheels: 13x6+7 alleycats - DONE

Remove rub strips - NOT DOING

Remove rear wiper - DONE

Fit momo 280 - DONE

Change bonnet soon as I find out what red my car is (its not Indian) DONE

Remove back seats - UNDECIDED

Half leather 306 front seats again - G40 INTERIOR INSTEAD

And I'm sure ill think of a lot more seeings as I make things out of carbon fibre for a living

Quick brief of the current spec:

Wheels: Staggered Alleycat specials 6j fronts 7j rears powder coated grey

Suspension: Pass, previous owner fitted it and cost him £500! (Mug)

Interior: G40 seats, MOMO 280 team steering wheel

Engine: 1.4 16v AFH CBR600 carbs running on the standard fuel pump with T peice. With mk3 flywheel AFH clutch and 8P gearbox

Your boulevard spec is a FOX spec except for:

Black carpet,

Black doorcards,

Black seats with 'volkswagen' written on them in multicoloured font

Height adjustable driver seat

Passenger vanity mirror

Analogue clock...

I think that's it!

It's a run-off model so 1993-1994.

Oh, you might have late spec rears if you're lucky :)

Ooooo thanks for that! ill check the rears but a something's telling me their just standard ones on mine :(

Ill update pictures Sunday after its been lowered at bit more, no wheels yet that's all coming after Christmas,

But I have put a momo 280 in and removed the rear wiper

Anyway I'm having a dilemma,

It's already lowered but not a lot. (I have a receipt for £500 shocks and springs from Germany Da fuq??)

I can't decide weather to buy coilovers or wheels this month!

Decisions...

Looking like it will be wheels and an angle grinder for the springs

I would say wheels first, but it's hard to know... What style of wheels you after?

Really wide 13" - suspension first

acceptable width 14/15" - wheels first. (this way it will look okay until you get the arches down to the wheels :) )

Presents for the polo tomorrow so long as my wheel bearing holds up for the 260 mile round trip

Wheels are on pictures tomorrow after I butcher the springs

Sneak peak if anyone cares - lowering it at 12 so ill upload photos when I'm done
