Hi guys,

New here, and this is almost my first post (well it actually is just now, but will go introduce myself straight away).

Anyway, picked up a 2000 plate 6n Polo. The steels were too skinny for my motorway commute I bought the car for, so got a set of VW bottletops.

Now the fronts fit fine, but the rears are too tight to go on the hubs (as if the centre bore is JUST too small).

Is there anything I can do to get them on without ruining everything?

I can get pics up if you need. But looking for a quick / free fix if possible.

Is the hub part clean and free from rust where the wheel sits on it and also the inside part of the wheel can become corroded and cause tightness so try cleaning them of with a wire brush or some sand paper
