Would this make the car struggle on start up if the relay was faulty? I know how they work and if it's the relay then the pump won't work at all?? My gt has a problem difficult to solve!

the fuel pump relay was broken when i did my GT engine swap i just wired the fuel pump live to the ignition live (As soon as you turn the key the fuel pump kicked in) was ment to be a temp fix but i could never find the relay for sale.

48 euro plus whatever postage is. its a black relay so doesn't hhave the OE look of the other but if you'r in need and VW heritage cant help you out this might save the day

iirc the five pin is the ecu relay, four pin is fuel pump.
