I've got the motorised touch screen (with VGA and USB) and all the hardware for the pc (it's all setup and running Windows XP and RoadRunner as the front end) need a few more bits and then i can work on installing it!

the screen is going in the location of the headunit

the headunit is going t be relocated elsewhere :S

Are you having a seperate tower/box for the pc components? Where are you going to put that?

Where the electric window buttons go, Then get some buttons in the door handle / holder things :)

The base mk4's have a gap where the buttons are ment to go like a storage thing, seems a Standard DIN size

dont want to post on a public forum where I'm hiding all my stuff :ninja: , when it's in come find me at a show and i'll show you it 8-)

 No problem.

I was just wondering because one of the lads at work did something similar but he had to keep replacing his harddrive cecause they're not made to get bashed around like they would in a car (especially if your running coilovers lol).

What JMZ is saying is a very good point actually. The HD wont last 5 mins with stiff coilies. At my work we make alot of electronics for racing cars and it all has to be screwed to the cars with AV mounts (anti vibration) The ones we use are M4 sized so if you wanted some i could send you some in the post for a small fee.

Was toying with the idea of making one myself but never got round to it yet be interested to sworks out...
