Quick update...I ordered some male pins from amazon meant for bmw but they are mqs fittings by tyco and are very similar with the 0.5mm pin...they don't stay in quite as well as genuine pins but I was able to fit them to test whether everything would work again if I replaced the pins and cleaned up the others....they did ! all working !!! Pete, I have ordered the correct pins from Latvia using that link with part number 000979012E you supplied, the eBay link you suggested to contact don't supply the pins on their own only in repair wire form @ £10 a go so have ordered the pins and accepting the wait !
