Maxim no plans for the front really. Will get some new plates made up when I've got some spare cash

Spare cash for plates? You've had the same plates for 4 years but now gone through two sets of wheels and tyres, exhaust system and stereo systems.

Plates are like 8 quid each...

always had a soft spot for 9n's, your one is lush. I cant believe you got rid of the porsche rims just so you could eat and have a roof over your head tho!?! they were lush, should look good with the lm stylee wheels on it tho.

what are peoples opinions of the replica lm's? Obviously they are 1 piece now, but do they really look as good as the originals in real life?

Apparently if they get multiple orders they can have them drilled to whatever pcd or bore size.. :-)

Yes they are good quality and they have always been 1 piece. No one has made 2 pc ones!

Righto update time!

I had the tyres put on the reps last thursday and said i was going to wait till the weekend to put them on

Well when i got home thurs night i decided i didnt have room in the garage so i chucked them on the car.

At first i was disappointed with how they looked as the back just sat too high and the car was absolutely filthy!

So...on fri after work Tav came round and we sorted out my extreme raked look

We removed the rear coilover adjuster rings which dropped the back end another 15-20mm :-)

No pics of the actual winders but ill get some at some point!

On sat i had planned to fully detail the car myself however after washing and claying i decided it didnt need machine polishing so i skipped that and pre-wax cleansed it with Dodo Juice Lime-Prime and chucked on a coat of Dodo Juice Hard Candy. Was about 8pm at that point and i was buggered so left it for the night.

On sun the deltran and myself went for a jaunt in the car to get some photos and check out some locations for other shoots

So shamelessly stolen from his trhead here are some photos from sun as the car stands now :-)

Del did my badges for me about 2 years ago now

The front has a couple of stone chips but a black marker pen sorted that out :p

No arch to roll unfortunately and it does rub (at times pretty badly) but I can live with it :)

Finally dropped the front as low as it will go now (about another 5mm) and I'm dead chuffed with the stance

Unfortunately one of my rear dampers has burst and now has absolutely NO rebound but luckily the friend I bought them from is a registered FK dealer so I'm getting a replacement FOC fingers crossed by the end of the week

Oh and I've also just bought a front brake setup from a 9n3 GTi (calipers w/hoses, carriers, discs and 2 sets of pads) for much cheapness

Will have to wait a little while to save for new bigger front hubs and new wheels bearings then theyll be going on

Once all thats done I've got a nice subtle install planned and also going to get the rears trimmed in leather to match the fronts before edition38/polo show!

And.....

Hopefully going to buy a set of subframes from panda for the front seats to get them sitting up a bit higher
