This list is looking pretty good, but come on people please get booking. apart from the plots allocated for the club there are only 6 other bookings for club polo, in fact including the club plots there are only 70 plots sold on the whole site, which means at this rate we wont have enough toilets, showers, and definatly no beer tent or hog roast! they have to book these extras by the end of the month and will only do so if enough people book in, remember you save a fiver as well in doing so. if a load of people just turn up at the gate there might not be enough facilities, and i for one don't fancy washing in the lake...

please please help make this show a success, I know the recent weathers not been great but we can only hope its better by then and not let it get us down. Besides its the people that make the show so just get there!

The reason why pre-booking is such a point to stress is because we won't have a whole field to ourselves if whittlebury park thinks we're only gonna take up a quarter of it. We know Billing knew to expect a full field of polo's each year because they'd held it a good few times, but to whittlebury they have no previous experience with this club and it would be a big gamble to take Liz's word for it that there'd be a couple hundred turn up!

Put it into a situation which is very real at the moment: at the start of september, Whittlebury decides 'holding our places' on a field looks too risky, and opens it up to other campers who have nothing to do with us. If whittlebury anticipates only 60 plots needed, and gives the other 240 away to people coming to see Le Mans (in other words, don't count on it being in low demand), then we're fucked. People who arrive earliest (thursday night, friday) will get plots in the 'club corner' and later arrivals will probably have to go anywhere and everywhere a spot is available. This could be 10 metres away, it could be 100 metres away, and that's no fun..

Even if you're only coming for sunday, pre-booking will do this event a huge favour, and I'm quite frankly amazed that at time of OP, only 6 people had booked. 1 of them would have been me.

also its a really stupid question possibly but who on earth do we sent the cheques too! I've tried booking today but couldnt work it out, maybe reasons like that is why people haven't booked? why not just show them this list (the people attending)ok it may seem abit un grown up and un proffesional but maybe thats whats needed

how bout you sort your life out like most people an put it in a diary god that isn't that hard is it surely. i mean anything can happen anyday of the week but it doesn't stop you from doing things. I mean you could spend a ton of cash on your car an you could crash it tomorrow. It is the chance you take!
