95% ready for Germany now

Yesterday and today got loads done in prep for the trip

The car is now all serviced, radiator is in properly, few bits of missing plastic are now on. ordered a load of odd nuts n bolts n stuff from VW which are now mostly fitted. Had the tracking sorted out today (finally )

Just a few finishing touches and its ready for the ring

Ah, you took the cable ties out They were doing an awesome job of holding the radiator in position

Air freshener was given out at the poloshow mate Guessing they have all gone now!

Got the rear badge in now as well Jon. Think its gunna go orange when I get the paint for the wheels! Same with the front as I think there's too much blue going on.

Nahh lol. Nothing too bright. Gotta find a decent colour yet to steal the code from.

I have the code somewhere for the orange used on GT3 RS's though

Actually loving it with the hella grill back on now. When it wasn't slammed it made the car look really slim . Now with it lowered I think it actually mates it look phat :p

Was going to get 4 new tires for the the MK3 steels (budget ones) but I was skint and I then realized the MK2 had 3 nearly new and one flat. so on went the one new tire and out came the hammerite.

Looked like this the day before I left ...

Actually think they look rather cool so they are staying over winter until the cats are ready

Yeah. It is addictive haha. 100% worth it though.

You should come down with us next year on the retro run The cars and the ring where a key part in the trip. But its the people I went with that made it even better!
