My spline tools arrived yesterday for the driveshaft bolts, Swift delivery considering i only ordered them on friday.

Engine crane is being delivered on Tuesday

Cars back in the spray booth on Monday having the marks from them damn magnets fixed, and a few other chips and whatnot sorted

RA's should be primed on the Tuesday at college if i get off my lazy arse and get the lips filled and sorted.

MK2 arch trims to be sanded down, cut to fit and primed asap too, going satin black

These surprises i have in waiting are delaying the engine swap unfortunately. Be worth it though i reckon But means the engine will be out for at least a week!

But yeh.... the lacquer didn't have enough matting agent in and has came out glossy. So now i have glossy doors and a boot :mad:

We are trying this matting stuff on it next week at college to see if that flats it down evenly. If not i guess its more lacquer mixed and back in the booth if i get chance.

Pretty pissed off as its made it 100x worse than what it was. id have lived with the little marks on the doors n boot rather than have it like it is atm. Gotta stay focused though. Looking at the car last night pissed me off. Didnt take any pictures as i knew it would make me worse haha!

Anyways, wheels primed today

On a more serious note, don’t get pissed off, at the end of the day once its all sorted you'll just appreciate it more.

Sorted out the RA's today

Most of the kerbing has been fixed with chemical metal. Its not all gone but the worst is sorted. Rest was savaged with the 150 grit wet n dry, so it looks a million times better.

They need some high build primer on them on the faces, will do that at home out of cans.

Then after I've rubbed it all down they shall be painted and completed

Also, picked the engine crane I'm borrowing up earlier. So can get cracking on with that soon.

lol, when i had the magnets on from Germany it marked the paint. Could only see it in different lights but i knew it was there so it had to go.

And they are 13's dude....
