boring update for you all

I simply couldnt spend that much money on the car and not whore it out

The RA's are all painted now as well as a few other thing's that have gone orange

also, paint has arrived for the engine bay

Cars going back in the booth again on monday to re-laquer the doors n boot, hopefully it will come out satin n not gloss

On tuesday it comes off the road for the mass overhaul of most things mechanical.

All satin again :D

Work has started

So today, with the help of Dan (higgo) we got the exhaust off, rear beam off and petrol tank out.

The pipes on the petrol tank, my god they are a pain in the ass! And getting the tank itself out was a bugger too. But its all done now. Tomorrow i shall attack it with the wirebrush, along with a few other parts then paint it all up.

Will try to get it all back in over the weekend at some point.

Its a bit tight but theres just enough room down the sides to move about. Specially good now its started raining.

Went to get some hammerite the other week, went in wilkos after some smooth gloss black.

After having a look i noticed that the bigger tin of blue was actually cheaper than the smaller tin of black. Stood there for ages hmming n arring about what to do. In the end i thought fuck it, ill try the blue n see what happens

Opened the tin today and well.. i wasnt expecting such a blue blue if that makes sense? Was expecting something boring and dark.

Wasnt sure about it at 1st but now some stuff is painted in it i think its actually really cool.

Did a load of other bits that go under the car in it too

Plastered in runs as i really did wallop it on, but its under the car so i couldn't care less, never really going to see it unless you crawling around for some odd reason or working on it.

On the way back from college that night i was grinning like a Cheshire cat lmao! I was so fucking glad it was all satin again. and that id manage to get it done on the last day of college haha!

Might be getting the engine out this Sunday if your free? Providing I've got the tank n rear beam etc all back on the car so i can move it around.
