There nothing special, just another one of those things ull notice if you look hard enough

The stone guards that go on the rear arch if you dont run trims. But these are the ones used on MK3's that didnt have bump strips (fox) so they dont have the sticky out bit where it would meet with the bumpstrip. so there flat as a pancake.

I dont know why, but i cant see me being a fan of it with arch trims on, so it had to be the next best thing.

To be honest I'm not a the largest fan of arch trims, but mine came with them on so meh, Had a check behind them and everything seems solid, Might take them off though, fancy an adventure!

If you have these trims saf I've got no choice but to charge you some sort of transport fee??!! :p

the mk2s look a bit lost without the arch trims as it extends on from the lower sill trims and front valance, so removing the arch trims requires a bit more to come off.

i was debating taking mine off but didnt, the black breaks up the yellow and i think the mk2/3s look tougher with em on.

so, at tatton i collected the correct expansion tank and my bananas

Today, after getting my job back I got cracking on sorting the car out, with the help of guy with the stealth mustache.

Brakes are bled and working, just need bedding in. Only thing is, my handbrake keeps sticking on and its a bit strange when i pull the handle up. It doesnt go up smooth as it should.

And the pain in the arse job of sorting the gear selector out is now complete. I can eventually get every gear :)

Nearly forgot, some pics i thought had some uber cool stance.

And yes, after some confusion and frustration with the gear selector :mad: i is indeed winning.

Thermo housing to do and then its actually just finishing touches, as apart from that its roadworthy (after putting the bonnet back on obv)
