For around easter time i can do one or the other. but not both (till later on in the year anyway)

As it stands I'm swaying to the wheels. As i think thats the only thing letting it down now. Some uber pimp wheels would really finish it off.

There orange powdercoat is a close enough match to the GT3RS orange I'm currently rocking, so they shall be going that colour to save me from having to paint um myself.

However, I'm in a tie between 2 wheels now.

Shame that i cant ask the people of clubpolo for help. As none of you are going to know until i turn up at spring fest with um on :p

Just need some slight modification to make um fit, pretty simple though really when you look at um next to eachother you realise whats gotta be changed.

Currently on a mission to get a complete bikecarb setup for as close to £100 as possible.

Manifold means that is impossible as theres no way i could make 1 myself. So no matter what I've gotta pay someone to make 1.

But.... I'm going to cheat at my own task and use the money i sell the un-needed GT bits (air intake/ecu/loom/afm/inlet/injectors etc) to knock the costs down closer to/below £100.

Reckon its do-able? Watch this space

definately do-able if your savvy. phataz1 can make you a top manifold (my boy Arun) and you can easily get back down to a tonne, selling off all your unneeded injection stuff.

however, i really would hang onto it mate! itll be a pain to get it all back again later, and its worth keeping as a fail safe!

Theres a MK2 in the scrappy nearby me with the ignition on it. Will try n get that as cheap as possible.

Spent sunday 'trying' to sort a few little niggles out, ended up making the car un-drivable.

All thanks to this stupid peice of shit...

Got pissed off to the max with it so gave up and decided to give it a quick clean. Something that couldn't go wrong, surely?

Well... it didnt go wrong as such but i did find this bastard in my sunroof

How i have a chip on my roof is beyond me.

Then got bored and slaughtered my airbox

Not had chance to drive it though due to my suspension not being held on by a great deal haha. So i don't know if theres any noise difference or anything.

2nd attempt today at getting the nut back on and it failed yet again, even with the help of supercooper (Brett) haha.

New nut time from VW as threads on both i had are fucked! Why does it have to be a fine thread and not a bloody normal one, makes things twice as difficult.

Carbs are currently undergoing a re-build and some other stuff

And I'm planning on getting these done over winter too as they have been sat around for almost 2 years now haha

Still gotta get the brakes sorted before the MOT, god knows how I'm gunna do it. Skint and i fucking hate working on the car in this weather. Its a killer.

Its going the same orange as the rest when i can be arsed to do it again!

And yes, it is do-able, infact 'Tramp' was running it on his (one of the only polos to have it i believe) but it needs a custom trigger wheel making and whatnot. something that i cant make myself and tbh, i wouldn't know where to start with it anyway.

MK2 ignition does the job perfectly find and is a piece of cake to work with. and much cheaper!

ah fair play. I'm new to polo tuning :p still stuck with mini tuning tricks lol. ill learn
