On the coilover front, what setup you thinking?

I've been over it time an time again and i think the only way is to significantly shorten the struts and have short custom dampers, those philj coilies ain't gonna cut it if you're thinkin 13's.

When are you going to do the engine bay orange?

If you can get one matt, would be cool yeh.

I've not seen many on a MK3 tbh, seen a few on MK2's but they have less bumper so its easier to make um more visible.

And a full orange bay. Would be epic but too much i reckon.

Wanna try n find orange electrical tape. And if i can be bothered to search as waste whatever money they cost, orange ignition leads

And if i go crazy, I'll get orange samco hoses for the rad etc.

Wanna paint the engine black though i think. Painted it orange, but against the other orange it just looks red. Which looks stupid.

I want a schrick (sp) one ideally, or a catcams one.

schrick do 268/268 and catcams do a 269/269.

I'm intrigued by the catcams one as someone i spoke to (who bought a 268 cam) said if they had have known, the 269 would be better suited. I've only ever heard of the 268 used on here. Other than silly high ones anyway.

Either the standard place, kinda hidden away, or maybe at a slight angle pointing to the corner of the bumper.

Its not going anywhere crazy anyway, kinda want it to be subtle but not invisible.

When i know whats happening with it, I'm gunna see if PhilJ will sort me the rest of the exhaust, and make some sort of custom bracket to hang it on.

Not sure weather to run with a mid box or not though, as i reckon this is gunna be LOUD as its the only box there, no cat or anything. But i already catch my midbox all the time as its like the lowest thing besides the cat.

I would run a mid box if i was you.

However if phills gonna be making the exhaust from the cat back, then he proably wont have a mid box thats identical to yours, either way you don't want to have the bike can as your only muffler or it will be pretty loud and tiresome. You just want a nice burble.

I'm thinking either side exit or size exit from the back bumper for my mk3. Iv just ordered mine from japan lol

Yeah its a curse this weather, I would have had the 1272 in by now if it wasn't for 3 feet or snow.

How dirty are your carbs then lol? I would label everything and take pictures, the amount of little bits and bobs , half of them look the same etc. Gets a bit confusing.
