Its all covered ben you fool haha.

And i hate it, but i dont have access to spraying equipment anymore. The cans of orange cost me a fucking fortune, i could spray the entire car for the cost of a few cans enough to do the wheels lol.

And you will see soon with the wheels, as i wont be messing around with um once there splt, want um done asap.

Yeah Alex, And I've gotta do um with cans. But there good cans and not gay like halfords.

Cant really make a mess either as its such a small surface area. No chance of it going patchy or anything.

Might get the baskets powdercoated, because I'm lazy  Probably cheaper too then cans of paint. Although I'm tempted to do something crazy with them :ninja: You know what I'm like with doing cool stuff to things that only 1 out of 10 people would ever notice

Arun 8-)

One of the dishes has got a slight knock in it, is there anyway of pulling i out? Dunno what to do with it

You get your stuff yet dude?

Something about that inlet manifold, and salty's for that matter. The main nipple coming off the runner at the end, is for the brake servo right?

You do know you could possible get a collection of fuel in your vacuum servo and dizzy? which is pretty dangerous..

On propper carburettors such as weber's etc, the vacuum is taken pre-mix so there's no risk of a fuel build up.

Something you might want to think about

Yeah, was made by arun

And isnt that what the 1 way valve is for max?

I dont think it would be possible to have a vaccum before the fuel goes in with carbs?

All bike carb manis have it there?

Yeah, was made by arun

Yeah the one way valve may hamper it travelling but fuel is great at eating its way through seals.

Its possible to have the vac feed before the fuel is added as that's how weber's systems are...

i really wouldnt worry about it dude, we've all been running ours for a good couple of years and had no issues

you'd make a good politician max...

haha, but its a vacuum max... Vacuum sucks. So any fuel would get sucked out.

The Engine sucks the fuel and air though..... not blow :)

The standard mk1 Golf manifold has the servo vacuum take off in the same place dude, so I don't think there would be any problems.

If the servo and dizzy were actively sucking air then you'd be right, but it works the opposite way round. The air in the dizzy vac bowl and the servo is drawn through the other way by the engine, thats what creates the vacuum :-)

Btw glad you got it OK Toby 8-) Sorry for being a knobhead and taking so long with it

max was a one man vacuum at vw action, noshing off mclovins underage mate at his tent entrance!

He sure does love the under-agers

True its vacuum , but because the diaphram at the end of the dizzy line is sealed, there's no air travel and it won't get 'sucked' out.

I'm not saying its gonna cause anything, but because the vacuum is so small there is a possibility of a build up, the dizzy vac lines always seem to go discoloured which can only be fuel.

And I'm not doubting the design , I just wondered about it as it was something mentioned the other day when we were fitting it to saltys,

Saf , the only nothing noshing was between your sis and mclovins smallest mate supposedly ;)

EDIT: retarded auto correction didn't know what "noshing" was
