yup, the splitter took the hit but popped off and basically the slot section you mount the splitter into has come clean off around about a third of the drivers side so it hangs down...i could prob fix this by mounting the splitter with self tappers direct to the bumper. (pikey mod and i know it will whole heartedly annoy the hell out of me!

also a 1inch chunk out of the bumper aswell right on the edge, and its this bit that i dont think i can repair.

NEVER!! It's still got that scuff on the corner off it, really needs it respraying. I reckon your cars a write off IMO and you should sell me rear bumper tbh.

it would be fixable but like you said the splitter section would just annoy you and once that corner section is fixed you would need to spray it again anyways, so may aswell buy a new one. coz theres no other half pikey jobs done on this motor so why start. :)

gutted tho mate, But could be so much worse so you are quite lucky it wasn't a bad bump :)

i dont purposely have my spliiter self tapped to save my bumper if i catch it on anything, luckily this has kept the splitter in one piece to reduce the damage!

just means i'll just have a trip to the paint shop sooner than expected.... audi goodies here we come!

how have you fitted it then dude? i havnt fitted my gti splitter yet because i wanted to avoid using self tappers, was thinking of a bonding agent?

just trimmed the tabs but leave them in a fashion so it remains wedged tight in the bumper....it never pops off infact only on impact did it pop off Gugz...i'll try and get a pic for you!
