got the roof liner in along with the freshly trimmed a and b pillars...not done the c pillars as i have only just removed them...the other bits i had were spare items!

loving how its tuned out! going to buy some fabric dye and do the door seal and also the roof seal.

been mocking up the options of fitting other VAG sun visors as i thought they would look better than simply dying the standard items....pinched my mates passenger visor from his fabia VRS to mock fit but as it has an extension over the rear view mirror it fouls on mine...obviously located in a different spot!

like so...

i know that Golf Anniversaries have black visors grab handles etc but will likely pay a premium for them...can anyone think of a non LTD edition model which i can rape for its darker trim?

i am also considering this as i think i may opt to retrofit some vanity lights in the roof lining that when you open the mirror, it activates the light...all about the small touches! ;) also gives me somewhere to apply my lippy when its dark! :D

my retrim only cost me £2.99 and my time :D

looks wicked as always man, was the headliner and pillars hard to do? as i might attack mine with the same stuff when i get my seats trimmed, oh will have some colour concepts as well soon...Vrs just arnt cutting it anymore lol

yeah VR leathers are poop in comparison...wasn't too hard you just neeed to be patient mate :D

the c pilars were the trickiest but you can get round the curves as a lot of it is hidden behind door panels etc so what is actually on show looks good :D

Looks good, for the seals I just sprayed mine, I think I remember Polomon said he tried to dye his and it didn't work.

all my money are you having a laugh?

You need to buy a set of lupo gti black visors mate...they'll fit no problem with a bit of changing of the bracket that is attached to the visor itself.

I have a set which don't have the origional mirrors as they cracked so i replaced them with mirror perspex and they lack the bracket but you could spray and fit your old ones.

Let me know dude...

Chrispy I used black show polish (liquid stuff) to do the door seals and it hasn't faded/ran/rubbed off yet and that was near 2 years ago
