Mate that is freaky, last night I was gonna start a thread for all the new steel blue additions to clubpolo, but got distracted by the tv and then 8 hours later you made it!!

Currently refurbing 14x6 BBS RJ's in metallic anthracite and soon fitting 195/45/14 Yokohama A539's, then fitting the 70mm lowering springs and shocks sitting in my hallway, and then getting 2 spots of rust repaired then taking some more pics!! Watch this space in about a months time!!

Anything before 1992 in this thread is medium blue metallic, not steel blue. Very similar, but medium blue has more of a green tint.

Here's my medium blue GT square, you can see it's alot greener in this pic than steel blue.

edit, here's another comparison:

There's a steel blue genesis to the right. Not much of one, but enough to see a difference. :)

It's not the same colour!! If you went and asked for some steel blue touch up paint and they gave you medium blue metallic you'd be pretty miffed!

Of all my mk3s, my medium blue GT was my favorite. Looked the best and was in amazing condition when I got it. Then this happened:
