I like the new rules, thought this race was brilliant. I do agree about bernie and max though . . all they see is money and they are ruining the sport. The new rules are a good start towards getting the sport better but there are still issues. I love f1 but just which they would put someone else in charge, someone that cares more for the actual sport!

still going to be the most boring sport going ! infact its not even a sport its that shit

moto GP ftw !

Always interesting to see an F1 car with a bit of opposite lock on.

I just wish they'd get an F1 Grand Prix going at the Nurburgring Nordschleife, get it up to safety requirements and then we could see a real test of the drivers.

A track as big as the nurburgring would be a health and safety nightmare, as well as grandstand seats being very low value for money only seeing cars coming by every 5 minutes.

This year has been good to watch so far, next year will be bonkers.

Polokid can go sit on a pin, F1 is not boring :p

You're right, didn't think of that.

Wow I never knew this thread was still alive!! That guy Massa was doin feckin brilliant in the rain round Monaco until the sun came out and the track started to dry, in which case Hamilton raped the grid.... good fun race tho!!

I got paid to watch the entire thing in work while sitting behind the bar.... :D

Always liked raikonnen since he first joined Mclaren, even before he became world champ, i know he may be boring in his press conferences , but he is one sick driver, he was very unlucky last year and year before with car failures and still became world champ. I do like hamilton but kimi ftw.

I would like to see Hamilton win the championship, if not then Massa.

he best do. hes awesome for someone of his age.

Hamilton is a very talented driver indeed, saying that they all are,m but hamilton for his age and inexperience is awesome

just watch moto gp then :-p

no rally drives are very talented... f1 drivers are just

You don't get picked for F1 on the streets after all, they have grown up in the world of racing - I'd call that experienced before they even sit in one.

I'd say I'm experienced when I bump mates into the tyres at karting.

Personally, I completely agree with trying to change the rules so that the driver has to do the driving. Up until this year, they may aswell have been sitting track-side operating via remote control. I also agree with the fact that they are changing the rules regarding engines and gearboxes have to last longer, and more so next year, to try and let the smaller teams in with a chance. It's not worked fully yet, because I still believe that almost anyone can win races if they are put into a Ferrari or Mclaren. They have about £750million each year to spend, but the smaller teams have to manage on merely (!) £100 million. Not taking away from Hamilton, he is a good driver, I just don't believe the likes of himi and Raikkonen won't have a chance in the smaller cars.

I much prefer watching Moto GP's, and WSBK's, as you are constantly watching overtaking manouveres, especially when it gets to the last 2 or 3 laps, when hardly a corner goes by without some pulling off some crazy overtake.

Anyway, that's my tuppence-worth.

sutil proved that its a reasonably level playing field.

4th untill tosser raikkonen bashed him out.

Sutil drove a great race, managed to keep it out of the barriers while others around him were going off. He has shown potential in the wet before.

The closest, cleverest, hairiest bit of motor sport I was ever (marginally) involved with was motorbike sidecar racing and I've no idea at all why it doesn't have a TV presence. It was awesome!

What the fook was Hamilton doing today the fool, and he ruined Raikkonen's race :x

Raikkonen smashed Sutil as his car lost control in Monaco, Hamilton today smashed Raikkonen out of lack of concentration; inexcusable - could so easily have been avoided. But fair play to Kubica, to make it second on the grid against the likes of McLaren and Ferrari, he deserved to win. It'd be interesting to see just how good Hamilton is in say a BMW or the Toyotas, and not the top flight cars...
