That is not bad at all Tej. I am only getting 30mpg around town and that is no booting it around at all.

yeah a few people moan about the fuel economy & that's the only thing that had me thinkin when i first looked at them...i know it's not great but getting 25 around town and around 30 on longer runs seems ok to me considering the performance

could have gone for one of the new wave of 2.0 TFSI cars but the grunt and the sound just don't compare even if the mpg is at least 5-10 mpg better

That's good IMO. I only get just over 30mpg in mine!

25 and 30...that sounds not too bad, I'd have expected less. The 2.4 Audi we have is sitting around 28mpg-ish on average. On a longer run it does pick up to the mid-30's if you keep it steady. Always fun watching the computer reading single figures when acceleating :lol:

oh those readings aren't fun to look at :lol: ...end up with some crazy low mpgs
