i'm a named driver making me only 3rd party and has we didnt get a chance to get the cars number plate and with no hard evidence theres not much i can do, best thing is just leave the insurance running cause its all paid until october and minus the cancelation fee it's not like i will get much back and i'l still get an extra years driving experience for the next policy. pointless in claiming to get no money and have a claim against my name to rag my insurance lol

yea i just have a fooked back n craig has a nice seatbelt burn over his neck, didnt hit us though, just caused the swerv to the other side of the road so i had to brake hard in sleet :(

Sorry, but eh? What does being a named driver have to do with being fully comp/3rd party? Surely your insurance, if its fully comp, is fully comp regardless of who of the people named on the policy are driving? And if its 3rd party, its 3rd party regardless of who is driving?

no the policy holder, i.e. my mum, is insured fulled comp, and name drivers on a fully comp insurance are only 3rd party

Not heard of that one before. That's not anything I've ever had on an insurance policy, unless its an age thing? If I take out a fully comp insurance policy, I expect all drivers named on the policy to be covered fully comp, and that's what I've had whenever I've had named drivers on my insurance.
